KALCA Public Interest Career Exploration and Mentorship Series:  The best way to explore a career you dream about is to speak with those who are actually living it.  KALCA's Public Interest Career Series will lay the bridge between those who are seeking to enter into public interest careers and the current practitioners (“Expert Mentors”) who want to give back to the community by sharing their valuable expertise and insight.  The participants will be able to receive practical industry information, learn day-to-day activities of the Expert Mentors and the best way to network within a specific field.

KALCA is proud to present a panel on Environmental/Green Jobs in June 2010.  In boardrooms, laboratories, and legislative halls, new ideas are explored and innovative initiatives are launched to create more environmentally responsible businesses and communities.  And these ideas touch upon virtually every existing industry from investment banking, construction and engineering to policymaking, law and science.  We hope students and professionals of all experience levels come and learn about environmental career options as well as new developments and ideas that are shaping the way we do business and live our daily lives.
